Diagnosis
Body including gastral tergites 1-6 bright golden-green; mesoscutum with anterior 1/3 with raised and weak reticulation, posterior 2/3 with engraved and weak reticulation, notauli as narrow and distinct grooves in median 1/3; scutellum with lateral mesh-rows short and straight. Similar to cupreus but with head distinctly transverse (0.7X as high as wide). See also cockerelli.

Biology
Gregarious endoparasitoid on Orgyia leucostigma (Lepidoptera: Lymantriidae); Euplectrus comstockii Howard (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae); from an unidentified tineid larva (Lepidoptera: Tineidae) living in the woolly galls of Andricus flocci Walsh (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae).
